Wow, how time flies. Haven't posted an image in a long time now.

This piece is done in Photoshop with the use of a tablet.

Well you probably know the myth:

Medusa was once a beautiful maiden, but she was foolish enough to compare herself to the goddess Athena. The jealous goddess changed her hair into vile serpents and made that no living being could look upon her without being turned into stone.

I felt a bit sorry for her. Deprived from all she loved and knew, just because of a foolish mistake and an vindictive goddess. I think she was really lonely.

Story tells she lived in a cave, so I tried to give her a bit of a greyish and pale complexion...
